
Tae Kwon Do is action
philosophy. It is the Korean Art of self-defense.
Literally translated, Tae means foot, Kwon means hand,
and Do means art.
Tae Kwon Do is designed as a nonviolent art and a system
of complete body exercise, as well as being a way of
life. It includes physical techniques, mental
discipline, and a deep philosophy.
Tae Kwon Do
philosophy emphasizes good health, happiness,
generosity, and a sense of value of freedom, justice,
and peace. All of these inspire both independence and
coexistence.
Incorporating Tae Kwon Do
training into your life will build the ability to be
strong, humble, gentle, and maintain self-respect.

We have a
program based on traditional Tae Kwon Do for kids called
Karate for Kids. The Karate for Kids system is
based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to
technical skills. Goals, Friendship, Perseverance,
Self-Control, Confidence, Self-Improvement, Courtesy,
Self Awareness, Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem, and
Dedication are some of the themes taught.
The word "Karate"
means, "Empty hand". Karate-do means "The Way of the
Empty Hand". Karate may be defined as a weaponless means
of self-defense. It consists of dynamic offensive and
defensive techniques using all parts of the body.

CLASS SCHEDULE
The Tiny Tigers program is
Tae Kwon Do specifically for preschool children from
2 through 6 years old.
This
program offers children a strong foundation in essential
character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and
discipline.
In addition, the program is designed to
improve children's motor skills and enhance their
ability to pay attention and follow directions. All
classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and
exciting instruction methods available for this age
group. This program works in conjunction with the Karate
for Kids program, thereby emphasizing the same values.
